Daisy must have experienced many dark days, but one of the darkest occurred when, a member of the community heard a male screaming and uttering foul, aggressive profanity from a nearby property.
They then saw 12‑week‑old puppy being hit, kicked, and chased in a frantic, terrifying circle. Eventually just cowering a corner when she could retreat no further.
Fortunately, when Daisy needed help most, people chose not to look away. Concerned members of the community reported what they saw, our inspectors intervened, and Daisy was brought to safety.
Today, she is living the happy life every dog deserves with a family who loves her.
